Install on Mac
The Mac download currently uses an earlier editor release than the latest Windows installer. It is provided as a TAR.XZ archive. Download it from your license portal and follow its included instructions.
macOS 12 or newer is needed; Parakeet requires macOS 13 or newer. Some optional lyric alignment features require Apple Silicon. Check the included build notes for your exact download.
Do not disable Gatekeeper to install an unverified app. If macOS blocks it, use a verified release or wait for a signed build.
