Choose how to create lyrics
You can write lyrics manually without a transcription engine. For automatic transcription, choose a supported local engine such as Parakeet or Whisper and install its files from the app's engine controls. The first setup needs a download and free disk space.
If you choose a cloud transcription option and supply your own API key, selected audio can be sent to that provider and charges may apply under your provider account. Check the option shown in your installed editor before starting. Keep API keys private.
The free license does not include a separate transcription provider subscription.
